Originally established as a joint venture between Mozambique Holdings Ltd and Strides Arcolabs Ltd (India) in 2015, the company was fully acquired by Mozambique Holdings in 2017. Since then, it has grown into one of the largest pharmaceutical manufacturers in Sub-Saharan Africa, now producing over two billion tablets annually.
WHO Pre-qualification: A Global Standard of Quality In a landmark achievement for Mozambican industry, FNM was granted World Health Organisation (WHO) Pre-qualification (PQ) in September 2024 This prestigious certification confirms that medicines manufactured at FNM meet the highest international standards of safety, efficacy, and quality.
